The following announcement was sent by both lists today and the event looks kind of interesting (though I must say I am not a big fan of death related things). It occurs the day after Halloween, appropriately enough. Maybe I'll go?

You know, Dr. Boland, I find it interesting that people relate Holloween so much to death...I suppose that really is what it's about, huh? Maybe it's my very Anime Oriented style, but I've viewed Holloween as dress up day since I was five. Maybe you should dress up this year.
